Data and purposes

We process the information you provide in our forms, including your name, email address, telephone number, profile, reason for the stay, requested dates, language and technical request data, to handle your booking, prepare the first-month rent authorisation, manage incidents and keep an audit trail of actions.

Card details are entered directly into Stripe and are not stored by Alquileres Gestión.

Legal basis

Processing needed to respond to your request and manage the booking is based on the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take. We may also process data to meet legal obligations and, where applicable, to safeguard security, prevent abuse and retain evidence of transactions.

Sharing between the customer and the owner

Alquileres Gestión is an advertising platform: the rental agreement is entered into directly by the customer and the owner.

Only after the owner accepts the request and Stripe confirms collection of the first month's rent will we give the owner the customer's name, email address and telephone number and give the customer the owner's equivalent details. Contact details will not be exchanged before both conditions have been met.

Recipients and communications

Stripe processes the data required for authorisation, collection and, where applicable, refunds. Essential hosting, form and email service providers may also be involved, as may public authorities where required by law.

Retention and rights

We retain data for as long as needed to manage the request and then for the periods required to deal with liabilities, claims, accounting duties or fraud prevention. The specific period depends on the outcome of the booking and the applicable obligations.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to data protection contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
